Mirror
Sami stood in front of his bathroom mirror, looking at the reflection of a teenager boy that stood before him. He picked up his black comb from the side and began pulling it through his wild, unruly, blond hair. He smiled to himself as his brilliant blue eyes starred at him.
Girls at school had called those brilliant blue eyes hypnotic, and it had been rumoured that one of the girls had fainted just from glancing into them.
There was always rumours about Sami at school. He was a male model and one of the most popular boys in school; it was only natural that there was rumours circulating about him somewhere. He had, afterall, recieved more love letters and corespondance from girls in his first year at high school, than his eldest cousin had in his entire life.
Sami didn't seem to mind that the girls talked about him; in fact he seemed to enjoy the large ammounts of attention that they lavished upon him.
It hadn't always been that way though. When he was younger, no one seemed to pay him that much attention at all. He was just another boy; dull, boring and adverage. Sami got a rude awakening to this one day, that's when he decided to make himself interesting, make people take notice of him.
Sami took up the drums. And with doing so changed his style; he threw out his wardrobe and dyed his brown hair, blond. His parents seemed to approve; better he got his aggression out on something productive, than join a gang and focus his energy on being destructive.
After taking up the drums Sami went from no one to heart-throb in thirty seconds. And all too suddenly he was a model, in a band and had more girlfriends than most boys of his age had hot dinners.
He flicked some gel through his soft hair and gave himself a satisfied look in the mirror. He was ready for yet another date.

Pen
Skye kept her diary in an obvious place. It was sat neatly on her bedside table. Her diary didn't look like anything in particular, just an old notebook. She had placed it this way for a reason; it didn't capture other people's curiosity.
Skye took this little book from it's hidding place and pulled out her pen. This pen was the only thing she had ever used to write in this diary. It was a replica of a quill, it was bright green and wrote with black ink. It had once caught her eye in a shop window when on holiday in Cherbourg.
She opened her diary at the next clean page and started her entry. The pen flowed across the page telling her inner most thoughts and feelings of the day. Her hand was half way down the page when the pen stopped working. She sighed loudly and began scribbling on a piece of paper madly, trying to make it work again.
She eventually gave up and allowed another sigh to escape her mouth as she looked at her favourite pen. She had done so many things with this pen; written stories, letters, song lyrics, essays, poems and even her diary. But it had finally given up the ghost.
She took her green fluffy pencil case from her book bag and began rummaging for a new pen. She smiled when she found an old black fountain pen with silver stars embossed on it. The pen was something her brother Xavier had once given her as part of a writing set.
She picked up where she had left off, with her new pen. When she had finished she closed the book and replaced it.
"Skye, dinner's ready" Xavier called through her bedroom door.
Skye bounced out of her room and hugged her brother.
"Thanks" She beamed "And by the way, I love that writing set you gave me"
"Uh, no problem" Her older brother replied confused.

"If dreams are wishes the heart makes, how come I have nightmares?" Lucy's fingers glided across the keys of the piano "If we are meant to be, then why do I always end up hurt?"
The door opened to reveal a dark blue haired boy. His name was Tori, and he was the lead guitarist for ~The Hellviews~. He had come to collect his guitar from their practice room before his music class. He watched Lucy play on, unaware of her audience. Her pleasant voice and talent for the piano made the corners of his mouth twitch into a smile.
"If love is supposed to feel like heaven, then why'd you make it feel like hell?" Lucy's soft voice echoed around the small room, as her slender fingers gently pressed the delicate keys.
"Bravo" Tori applauded, as her song came to an end.
Lucy spun on the piano stool to face her one man audience.
"That was beautiful" Tori continued.
A rosy blush coloured Lucy's otherwise pallid cheeks.
"Oh, you heard" Lucy murmured "I was just messing about ..."
Tori gave her a grin and a little nod.
"You were great" He beamed "What do you call it?"
"Call what?"
"That wonderful song; what do you call it?"
"Er...it's untitled" Lucy hesitated "I'm not really good at writing music..."
"Well maybe you should try and think of something" Tori said.
"Like what?" She asked.
"Er...I don't know; dreams or nightmares" Tori suggested.
"Okay"
"Okay?"
"Okay, that's what I'll call it; dreams or nightmares!" Lucy gave a shy smile "Thanks Tori"
She reached out and put her arms around him, before gathering up the music sheets and heading off to her lesson.
"Thanks for what?" He called after her.
A hand appeared on his shoulder. Tori turned his head slightly to see his friend Sami standing a little way behind him.
"It's funny!"
"What is?"
"How a little music can bring two people together!" Sami remarked
"What?"
"Don't worry, the words would be wasted on deaf ears"

Kiss (*Fiction Challenge Note* I am using my fictional characters ~*The Hellviews*~ for this challenge)
Luna smiled at Gouki as he ate he way through the lunch she had made him.
"So?" She encouraged
"It's great" He replied, as he shoveled more food into his mouth
"You really like it?"
"Yeah, it beats my mum's cooking any day of the week!"
Luna beamed at the bassist. The boy seemed oblivious to the reasoning behind Luna's random act of kindness. Luna wasn't generally the type to make anyone lunch. She was usually demanding and expected things to be given to her; she wasn't really accustomed to giving.
"Would you mind if I made you lunch, tomorrow?" Luna asked with a sheepish smile
"No, I'd like that, I'd like it a lot; saves me bringing anything from home!" He gave his friend a little wink.
Luna's smile grew wider as she shifted a little closer to Gouki. He finished the lunch and looked at Luna's hopeful face.
Gouki wasn't with girls, a fact that anyone who knew him even slightly, was aware of. He always found situations where he was on a one-to-one with a girl the most difficult; he liked to have Sami's back-up.
He gave Luna an awkward smile. He leant closer to give his friend a hug. Luna misread the signals and kissed him softly. When she pulled back a reddish glow appeared on Gouki's cheek.
"Uh..." Gouki began
The bell rang, signifing the end of the break and the begining of class. Luna beamed widely as she picked up her black book bag.
"See you later, Gouki" She blew him a little kiss
"Uh, Bye" He managed in all his confusion
The blond girl bounced out of sight, leaving Gouki amongst a tangle of mixed thoughts.
"You going to class or what?"
Gouki turned his head, it was his best friend Sami.
"Yeah, yeah" He replied, snapping out of his trance "You ever heard of being fashionably late?"
Sami raised an eyebrow
"To Mr Kanno's class?"
"Uh...maybe not!"

To my fiction, Luna is the original character for ~The Hellviews~she is the reason that I have spent all this time trying to work on a fiction for her. She hasn't been featured in any of my other works, unless in passing. But here's her whole new character profiling.
Any comments/critques welcome! (And nowadays, given my inspirational state, encouraged!)
